Robotics
There has been a weekly lunchtime club for the past couple of months focusing on programming and controlling a robot for Vex IQ. We have invested in a field and equipment, which we are using to practise to take part in some competitions. There is another competition coming up in the next few months which is the main one, whoever wins that will progress through to the regional stage.

Vex IQ Squared Away competition - January 2020

Recently we took part in the 'Vex IQ Squared Away' competition at Essex University. There were three ways to play Vex IQ: programming, driver control, and team work challenge. We did not win the competition, but we did achieve the highest combined score in the teamwork challenge (104 points).
