The Home Farm Primary School Savings Scheme

Here at Home Farm we place a great emphasis on teaching enterprise skills.  This includes ensuring that the children have an understanding of money and how to manage it.

Our school savings scheme is based on a model recognised and promoted by the banking industry, and gives children a chance to save money regularly and to see their money grow.

Some of our Year 6 children have taken on the role of 'bankers', under the supervision of Mr Lewis.

Children who are members of the scheme bring a small amount of money in to school every week and watch their savings grow.
